Delivery and Returns
Please read these terms and conditions of sale carefully before placing your order.
The current delivery charge is:
£6.99 UK mainland shipping
£12.99 Highland and Islands including Argyle and Bute, Isle of Wight and Isle of Man*
£9.99 Republic of Ireland

*This may not be charged on the initial placement of your order, but we may charge you extra for shipping to these locations.

Standard  = Delivery – Within 10 Working Days (unless stated or informed otherwise)
(excludes Weekends & Bank Holidays).

Premium  = Delivery – Within 3 Working Days (unless stated or informed otherwise)
(excludes Weekends & Bank Holidays).

There are delivery charges for the rest of the world

Please note that during peak times some of our deliveries may take slightly longer than usual.  We do our very best to deliver as soon as possible.

1. The Contract
These terms of sale apply to all goods supplied by Luxum LED LTD
No contract exists between you (the customer) and us (the Supplier) for the sale of any goods until we have received and accepted your order and payment in cleared fund has been received in full.  When we have received your order and payment has been cleared, there is a binding legal contract between us.
This Contract does not affect your Statutory Rights.

2. Description and Pricing of Products
Product descriptions and imagery for products are displayed on the Supplier website.
Prices are as shown, generally exclusive of VAT at the current rate. Every effort has been made to ensure that prices shown on the Supplier website are accurate at the time the order has been placed. If an error is found, the Supplier will inform you as soon as possible and offer you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price, or cancelling your order.
Every effort is taken to ensure that product descriptions and specifications on the Supplier website are accurate. If errors by the supplier are discovered at any time after the order has been placed then the customer is entitled to cancel the order or return the goods within 14 days of receipt. No further liability can be taken by the supplier.
Any quotations made by email or other methods that do not have an explicit validity period will be valid for 30 days from issue.
Dimensions, weights and images are given as a guide only and do not constitute a legally binding Contract. The weight specified is a shipping weight and used primarily to determine shipping costs.
There will normally be a delivery charge payable in addition to the product price, dependent on the size and weight of the ordered product, which will be shown on the customer order.

3. Making a Purchase
The customer (you) can make a purchase by browsing the www.Luxum.co.uk website and associated, agriculture.luxum.co.uk, trade.luxum.co.uk, automotive.luxum.co.uk websites selecting items that you wish to purchase, then adding them to the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout", you will then be required to register entering your details required to satisfy the order.
Payment is made through a secure mechanism.

4. Delivery
Various delivery options are offered with estimates on timing.
Any delivery times, quoted on the site or through correspondence are a close representative from estimates provided in conjunction with couriers but cannot be guaranteed unless explicitly stated as guaranteed.
If the goods supplied to you are damaged on delivery, you should notify the Supplier by email on sales@luxum.co.uk within a maximum of 24 hours of delivery receipt attaching photographs of the damage.

5. Your Right of Cancellation and Returns Policy (Consumer Distance Selling Regulations)
The customer (you) has the right to cancel the contract at any time up to the end of 7 working days after you receive the goods providing the goods have not been installed, assembled or modified in any way and providing they are returned with the original packaging and providing the goods are in an "As New" condition. This does not apply to goods that have had specific modifications for you. This applies to a sample with the exception of the right to cancel the contract at any time up to the end of 7 working days. If goods are purchased as a sample you have the right to cancel the contract at any time up to the end of 14 working days.  The customer can order multiple samples. The customer can only return one sample of the specific product code. 
To exercise your right of cancellation you must notify the Company by email to sales@luxum.co.uk
The Goods will not be accepted by The Company until a Return number is obtained.
If you exercise your right of cancellation after the goods have been dispatched, you will be responsible for returning the goods to the Manufacturer at your own cost. The Supplier will notify you of the return address. You must take reasonable care to ensure the goods are not damaged in the meantime or in transit.
0nce you have notified the Supplier that you are cancelling the contract the Supplier will refund or re-credit you within 30 days for any sum that has been paid by you by the secure method used to purchase the goods.  This does not apply to goods that have been purchased as a sample.  Samples will be credited with a Store Credit.
If you do not return the goods as required, the Supplier may charge you a sum not exceeding the cost for the Manufacturer to return the goods to their original condition.
If you are given authorisation to return goods then you are to do so within 14 days or in the case of a sample you must return the goods within 5 days.
These consumer distance selling regulations do not apply for sales to other businesses.

6. Installations and Commissioning
All installations should be performed and tested by a competent tradesman. No liability can be taken by the supplier.

7. Liability
The supplier will not be liable to you for any costs, loss of profits, administrative expenses or inconvenience, disappointment, consequential loss or damage arising out of any problem in relation to the products or the performance of this Contract.
The supplier shall have no Liability to you for any Delay or Failure or Damages in relation to the Goods supplied that is caused by any event or circumstance that is beyond the reasonable control of Luxum Led Ltd including without limitation Industrial Disputes, Strikes and Acts of Terrorism.
The supplier has no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than any refund we make in line with these Terms and Conditions.
The Liability in any event is limited specifically to the goods and no consequential issues with a maximum value of the cost of the Goods.
These Terms and Conditions do not affect the Customer's Statutory Rights as a Consumer.
These Terms and Conditions do not exclude our Liability to you for fraudulent misrepresentation or for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.

8. Warranty
All goods supplied by the Supplier are warranted free from manufacturing defects for 12 months from the date of supply (unless otherwise stated). This warranty does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. The consumer (you) is responsible for returning any goods for inspection and replacement if faulty. The customer is responsible for all delivery costs (unless otherwise agreed). If the goods are returned from outside the UK then the customer is responsible for all delivery costs. The LEDs are covered by a 1 year manufacturers  guarantee.  After the first year the consumer is responsible for the liaison with the manufacturer and all matters concerning this guarantee.
This warranty does not apply to any defect in the goods arising from unfair wear and tear, wilful damage, deterioration due to corrosive air, salt or elements, accident, negligence by you or any third party, use otherwise than as recommended by the Supplier, failure to follow the Supplier's instructions, or any alteration or repair carried out without the Supplier's approval.
In some cases the supplier will advise the consumer that there is a manufacturer’s guarantee that is longer than 12 months. In this case the consumer has responsibility for liaison with the manufacturer directly and may be required to pay delivery costs at the manufacturer’s discretion. The supplier will only notify the consumer of manufacturer’s guarantee where they have written confirmation but will not be responsible for any aspects of these guarantees.
